East Mall Park

For this community park along the East Mall in Etobicoke, VFA has designed extensive park improvements centred on a new playground with integrated water play area and new pathway connections.  The design also features a large seating area with planter seatwalls, benches, new tree planting and a new accessible pathway to the parking lot.  VFA has developed concept designs, facilitated a public information meeting, completed detailed design development, construction documents and construction contract administration.  

Phase 2 was completed in 2017 and both the new splash pad and playground are heavily-used by the local community.
